ALA Annual 2015, San Francisco

I’ve just returned from my first American Library Association conference, and it was wonderful to have the whole library team at Teachers College with me in San Francisco, CA! Between the four of us, we presented two poster sessions and three discussion sections throughout the conference. My way-too-detailed daily coverage of the event is available on the EdLab Blog: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday!

On Sunday, I helped facilitate at the ALCTS Creative Ideas in Technical Services IG discussion group. While I was there talking about demand-driven acquisitions and service design blueprints with other tech services librarians, Laura presented our poster and talked up all the interesting tools we’ve been working on at Edlab! People were particularly interested in Roomer, the mobile room reservation system, and DocDel, the document delivery system for course reserves and patron requests for resources.
